Open-Plan Kitchen-Living Room in a Seaside Apartment

Client's Goals and Requests

The main task was to plan an apartment in Kobuleti for seasonal getaways, maximizing the use of every square meter. The clients asked for ample storage solutions and a calm, relaxing atmosphere inspired by the seaside.

LIVING AREA

The living area features a color palette reminiscent of sand, creating a serene and peaceful ambiance. Add to this the sound of waves outside the window and billowing white tulle against the azure sky. The perfect setting to be alone with your thoughts and escape the hustle and bustle.

Initial Conditions

The space was an open layout without internal partitions (a "raw frame"), which allowed creative freedom but required meticulous planning of all engineering solutions from scratch.

KITCHEN

The living area within the combined space

The kitchen in this apartment is small and bright—as if designed solely for brewing a couple of cups of aromatic coffee.

For lunch or dinner, you can always visit a restaurant on the promenade. Let's be honest, who would want to cook when the Black Sea, blue skies, and palm trees are right outside the window?

Our Design Solution

We designed and custom-built all the cabinet furniture with integrated storage systems, including the bed and sofa.

Warm and cool sandy tones in the modern interior fill the apartment with warmth and light, constantly reminding its residents of the generous South and the gentle sea nearby.

BEDROOM

The bedroom design in this project is a play of textures and materials. There are no bright, flashy accents or attention-grabbing elements. Everything follows the motto: "Calm. Serenity. Relaxation."

At first glance, the bedroom seems small. But this impression is deceptive—there is simply nothing superfluous here. Two stylish bedside tables, unique lamps that also serve as room decor. And all the "extra" yet necessary items in daily life are stored in a spacious, large wardrobe.

And, of course, our favorite (and not just ours!) panoramic glazing. It’s simply impossible to hide the stunning sea views! That would be a crime on our part. After all, the main gem of any coastal apartment is, without a doubt, the views from the windows.c

ENTRANCE HALL

Entrance Hall: To the left of the entrance is the door to the bathroom and toilet. To the right is a spacious walk-in closet. Directly opposite the entrance is the door to the bedroom and the entrance to the combined kitchen-living area.

The dressing room can accommodate not only suitcases but also a large amount of clothing and shoes.

When developing any project, we focus on implementing the client’s wishes with maximum accuracy and completeness. After all, it is they who will live in the interiors we create. And we would be pleased if, when touching a piece of furniture, a decor item, or any detail in the apartment, they remember us with warmth.
