This project is a clear example of a successful redevelopment of a 60 sq.m. one-room apartment in Moscow. We transformed a standard "one-room" apartment into a multifunctional space with a dedicated bedroom, hallway, kitchen-living room, and study.

Client's Tasks and Wishes

The project was developed for a young man with an active lifestyle. The client wanted a modern studio apartment solution suitable for hosting guests, working, and relaxing. Key requirements included: a separate sleeping area, a bar counter for making cocktails and socializing with friends, and a full-fledged workspace.

Initial Conditions

The original layout was a typical one-room apartment with inefficient space organization. The balcony was unused, and it was necessary to legalize the redevelopment and integrate it into the living area.

KITCHEN

Our Design Solution

The key element was zoning with a glass partition, which separates the bedroom while maintaining a sense of spaciousness. We designed the kitchen as a niche with built-in appliances and organized the study on the loggia.

Sliding pocket doors between the hallway and living room allow for flexible space management, which is an excellent solution for compact housing in Moscow.
