Property
Open-plan apartment, 80 sq.m.
City
Batumi /Georgia/
An elegant interior design project for a sea-view apartment in Batumi for a family with a child, executed in a modern style with an emphasis on comfort.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
  • Initial Conditions

An open-plan space without interior partitions (in a rough shell/frame).

  • Client Tasks and Wishes

Creating a modern living space with plenty of storage areas, a relaxation zone, a comfortable parents' bedroom, and a children's room for a school-age daughter.

  • Project Features

Individual heating and hot water supply (gas boiler + heating radiators).

KITCHEN-LIVING ROOM
The kitchen-living room is divided into 3 zones: a kitchen zone, a dining zone with a table, and a relaxation zone. The unique geometry of the space allowed us to create a large chill-out area within the relaxation zone, featuring a comfortable sofa and benches along the panoramic windows.
The panoramic glazing fills the space with light and opens up stunning views, creating a sense of spaciousness and unity with the sea. A large balcony with a sea view invites a leisurely morning coffee and quiet evening conversations with a glass of wine.
Chocolate, caramel, coffee with milk... These colors promote tranquility. A comfortable lounge bench along the panoramic windows with soft cushions, overlooking the sea. You'll agree - sad and gloomy thoughts are unlikely to overcome you in such a cozy corner. You'll want to settle comfortably on the sofa or on the bench by the window, and while sipping a cup of aromatic strong coffee, sadly say: "The sea is so stormy... Winter is coming soon..." Or, on the contrary, joyfully: "How warm the sun is! Spring is finally here!" It was probably precisely such thoughts that inspired our clients when they asked us to create this type of relaxation area in the living room.
Living Room Area
PARENTS' BEDROOM
The master bedroom is done in the same coffee-with-milk shades as the entire project. Plenty of storage space, individual bedside lighting, bookshelves. This is a place for rest and sleep, for quiet tête-à-tête conversations.

CHILDREN'S ROOM
A bright and cozy children's room, filled with air thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows with direct access to the balcony. The main tone of the children's room is a delicate and noble "dusty rose" shade, creating a calm atmosphere. Everything here is thoughtfully designed: a convenient study area with ergonomic furniture, plenty of storage systems for toys and belongings, and a small play area. Every item in the interior is chosen with care for the child's development and comfort.

ENTRYWAY and WALK-IN CLOSET

Entryway: lots of glass, wood, and of course - plenty of storage systems. An interesting design for the entrance to the walk-in closet.
By the way, we placed the washing machine and dryer right in the walk-in closet.

BATHROOM
We opted for a full bathtub instead of a shower stall, understanding that a child will be living in the apartment. For families with children, this is not just a nod to comfort but a necessity: a bathtub is indispensable for bathing children and safe water play. Unlike the dynamic pace of life of childless couples, here there is room for leisurely evening rituals and children's laughter in the soap suds.
When developing any project, we focus on implementing the client's wishes with maximum accuracy and in full. After all, they will be living in the interiors we create. And it will be a pleasure for us if, when touching the furniture, an interior object, or any detail in the apartment, they remember us warmly.
Yours, KStudio.
